Its great to see so many companies making positive changes.
Just some examples of local business doing their bit for the oceans.
The Story House Café is gone all the way with all its takeaway products; cups, cutlery, boxes and straws made from compostable materials. The Good Catch is plastic free, apart from forks which they are replacing soon. The Little Macaron Shop has switched to degradable bags, saying, “Far too much plastic is in the world and it never felt right being part of the problem .” Lakeside Bistro have switched from plastic straws to paper. Crosby Coffee is planning to follow their example and so are Crosby Leisure Centre and the Plaza Cinema.
